Chef mentorship

One chef. One learner. A plan built around your goal.

Group classes teach the foundations. Mentorship takes you further. Work one-to-one with a senior chef who tastes your food, studies your technique and builds a training plan around exactly what you want to achieve.

A clear goal

We start with an honest assessment session: what you cook now, where you want to be and how much time you can commit.

A personal plan

Your mentor designs a week-by-week plan — dishes, techniques and milestones — tailored to your goal.

Direct feedback

Every session ends with tasting and specific notes. Between sessions you share photos and questions for review.

Mentorship tracks

All tracks include 16 one-to-one kitchen sessions over eight weeks, ingredients for every session, a written plan and a final review. Fees can be paid in two installments.

The 8-week journey

How a mentorship unfolds

Every plan is personal, but most mentorships follow this rhythm. Sessions run two or three hours in our training kitchen, scheduled around your work.

Week 1

Assessment & goal setting

A skills test cook, tasting session and goal conversation. Your mentor writes your eight-week plan.

Weeks 2–3

Foundations reset

Fixing the habits that hold you back — knife grip, seasoning, heat control and station organisation.

Weeks 4–5

Core dishes

Cooking the dishes that matter for your goal, repeatedly, until they are consistent and fast.

Weeks 6–7

Pressure & polish

Timed cooks, multi-dish service and plating refinement. Your mentor plays the demanding head chef.

Week 8

Final cook & review

A full tasting menu or trial shift, a written review of your progress and a plan for what comes next.
